My journey to digital marketing began in college, when I discovered the power of digital communication. I have always had a creative side but struggled to find an outlet where I was able to express it. I started leading social media workshops and managing online strategies for programs where I was able to combine two things I genuinely desired in a career- helping others and achieving goals in a way that allowed me to both structured but also creative. That spark grew as I entered the corporate world helping small to midsize businesses. It can be difficult when an owner wears so many different hats, which is common in businesses I worked with. Trying to maintain a social presence while also running your business is hard, and hiring someone to take care of it full time is a huge investment, I’ve talked to so many business owners who have become burnt out in the process of trying. Burn out is something I resonate with, after typically working seven days a week freshly postpartum and trying to catch up from an unpaid maternity leave, although I had such a love for my clients and helping them grow, I decided to leave the corporate space. This decision was incredibly hard but so worth it to gain time with my daughter back. When life shifted and I became a mom, I realized that while I loved the creativity and strategy that came with marketing, the demand of working constantly left almost no room for what matters most, being present for my beautiful family. So, in a leap of faith, I made a change, creating my own business where I can pursue what I love, having more freedom of time and fulfillment. In the corporate world you can certainly get digital marketing help, but in my experience, I have found it to be overpriced and lacking personal connection, this was something that often bothered me, and something I knew I wanted to change with the launching of my business. I’m so grateful I built this platform, being able to pour my expertise into helping businesses grow while still getting to be the mom I always dreamed of being is rewarding in a way I can’t fully express. Today, I combine my experience in brand storytelling, social media strategy, and digital marketing to deliver results that are intentional and personalized to you and your team.
